AEON Seberang Prai City
AEON Seberang Prai City Shopping Centre, situated at Jalan Perda Timur off
Jalan Permatang Batu in Bandar Perda, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, Penang, is a
sprawling shopping mall. It officially opened its doors on Friday, 22 August
2008. The mall features six levels, with three dedicated to retail space and the
remaining three allocated for parking. Retail activities are housed on the
Ground Floor, 1st Floor, and 2nd Floor, while the basement, 3rd floor, and
rooftop serve as parking facilities. Additionally, there are six parking lots
surrounding the shopping centre. AEON Seberang Prai City operates daily from
10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
AEON Seberang Prai City Shopping Centre is owned by AEON Co., formerly known as
Jaya Jusco Stores Bhd, the local branch of the Japanese retail giant AEON Japan.
AEON manages the AEON Department Store chain in Malaysia, and the AEON Seberang
Prai City Store is the second AEON outlet in Penang, following the one at
Queensbay Mall. As the anchor tenant of AEON Seberang Prai City, it occupies two
levels of the south wing and two levels of the central court within the mall.

Getting There
By Car
Visitors traveling from Penang Island can easily access AEON Seberang Prai City
Shopping Centre. Exit the North-South Expressway at the Bukit Mertajam Exit
(also known as Exit 162). Proceed along the main road towards Bukit Mertajam,
known as Jalan Baru. Upon reaching a flyover-cum-roundabout, take the road exit
(do not use the flyover). At the roundabout, take the second junction onto Jalan
Permatang Batu, which leads to Bandar Perda. After a short distance, you will
arrive at Bandar Perda on your left; do not turn in here. Continue a bit
further, and you will spot a prominent AEON signboard on the left side of the
road. This is the entrance to AEON Seberang Prai City Shopping Centre, located
on the left side of the road.
By Bus
Consult the Rapid Penang Bus Route at Penang Sentral. Bus 701 passes through
Jalan Permatang Batu, where AEON Seberang Prai City is situated.
